Product description
It comes from terraces torn from the mountain, where Liguria is harsh, vertical, sincere. The Pigato Ligurian Riviera of Ponente di Casiglian was born here, caressed by light, sculpted by wind, nourished by patience.
In the vineyard you work with respect and rigour, without forcing. In the cellar everything is designed to tell the wine, not to change it.
In the glass it is golden, with luminous reflections and a discreet brilliance. The nose is measured, deep: cedar peel, dried flowers, scrub herbs, resin, stone heated by the sun.
The sip is clean, vertical, saline. The acidity is alive but well integrated, the fruit remains in the background, elegant. It closes with a bitter note, almost balsamic, which accompanies and invites you to return.
A wine that reflects the clear and uncompromising vision of its author, Luca Sofrà.
An honest job, made of hands, effort, sober and courageous choices.
He works vertically, like his land. And bring a real Liguria in the glass, without ornaments.
